The South Jersey Kayak Bass Fishing Club (SJKBFC) was founded in January 2010 by a group of individuals who have a passion for kayaking and the challenge of fishing for large and smallmouth bass. Our Members live throughout the Tri-State Area, come from all walks of life, and are employed in various lines of work, but all have the same enthusiasm for the club.
SJKBFC promotes and respects the conservation and preservation of the bodies of water that tournaments take place on by utilizing catch and release practices.
We fish 15 tournaments in the Tri-State Area (Primarily New Jersey) between March and October. Our membership is continually growing as more and more people become interested in kayak bass angling. We have a membership cap of 30 anglers. We invite all anglers 18 years or older to come out and fish as a guest during one of our “open” tournaments. This will be a great way to find out what our club is all about. We cater to all levels of angling abilities with an emphasis on sportsmanship, fun, and education.
The SJKBFC is a proud member of the South Jersey Bass Club Association (SJBCA).
